In a bowl:
4 Tbsp sugar
5 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
Mix.  Add:
1 egg
Set aside.

Dissolve:
2 packages yeast in
1 c milk or water, warmed
Add to egg bowl & mix.
Add:
3 1/2 c flour
Mix good.  If dough is sticky,  touch your hand in flour & keep
mixing until it is smooth.  Leave in bowl & let rise until
doubled.

Rub
5 Tbsp oil all over a cookie sheet.
Spread the dough.
Let it rise again.

Bake @ 375 for 8 minutes.
If it isn't a nice golden color, put it back in oven for 2-3
minutes.

Spread
PIZZA SAUCE all over crust.
Sprinkle with
grated Romano cheese.
Put back in oven just to let the sauce get a little firm.
Just so it won't be runny, about 10-15 minutes.
Don't let the sauce get dry.
From the kitchen of Diomira Putano.  Aunt Diomira came to
America, from Italy, as a teenager.  This is
not the typical
American pizza.  It's topped with grated Romano instead of
mozzarella.  Use
Aunt Diomira's Pizza Sauce.
"The trouble with eating Italian food is that
five or six days later you're hungry again."
