Banana Cake
with Cream Cheese Frosting
From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser.  This is a tasty way to use up ripe
bananas.  I found this recipe in a Taste of Home bonus pack.  I've changed it a
bit.
Cream:
1/2 c butter, softened
1 1/2 c sugar

Add:
2 eggs
1 c (8oz) sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Add:
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Mix well.

Stir in:
2 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
Stir just until combined.

Spread into a greased 13x9 pan.
Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes or until toothpick tests done.
For a 15x10 pan, 20-25 minutes.
Cool.

Cream Cheese Frosting:
Beat:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
Add:
2 c confectioner sugar

Keep refrigerated.
Freezes well.
