From the kitchen of Kay Putano. This batter is good
with haddock, flounder, perch, cod and chicken too!
Mix together:
1 1/2 c flour
1 package dry yeast
In another bowl mix together:
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 c hot water
Add:
1 c beer
Heat a pan of oil.
Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Coat fish in batter and immediately put in hot oil.
