From the kitchen of Kay Putano. A nutty crust with a
creamy filling and topped with blueberries.
1st Layer
Mix together:
1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
1 c flour
1/2 c nuts
Pat into a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake @ 350, 15 minutes.
Cool.
2nd Layer
Mix together:
12 oz cream cheese
9 oz whipped topping
1 c powdered sugar
Spread on cooled crust.
3rd Layer
Mix together in a pot:
3 c blueberries
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c water
3 Tbsp cornstarch
Cook until thickened.
Cool.
Spread on cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate several hours before serving.
