From the kitchen of Kate Bencker. This recipe
came with my ice cream maker. It's so easy.
There's no cooking & it's ready in 25 minutes. I buy
either 1% or 2 % milk and I always have half n half
on hand. So I usually use 2 c milk and 1 c half n
half. Obviously, the fatter the milk product the
creamier. The heavy cream just feels oily on the
roof of my mouth, so I don't like to use it.
Put in ice cream maker:
3 c milk product(s)
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Process until thick, about 25 minutes.

This batch of vanilla ice cream was made with 2 c whole milk, 1
c heavy cream. From the ice cream machine it went to the
freezer for a couple hours before serving. When it's straight
from the machine it's soft serve consistency (at least it is for
