From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser. You can
use any pasta, but we like mezze penne. Butter, salt,
pepper & Romano cheese flavor the pasta & peas.
Great on a hot day when you want something "light."
Also good with leftover chicken or ham cut small &
mixed in. I like it with a scrambled egg mixed in.

Cook according to box directions:
1/2 box mezze penne
Drain. Toss with:
1 Tbsp butter
The heat from the pasta will melt the butter.
Meanwhile, cook 1 c peas. (I put frozen peas in a
2 c pyrex measuring cup, cover peas with water &
microwave for 2 minutes).
Drain. Toss with a little butter.
In a bowl combine:
the buttered penne
the buttered peas
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Romano or Parmesan cheese, to taste
Optional add ins:
leftover chicken or ham, cut small
