Barb Davies makes beautiful cookies using this
recipe. She eyeballs the amounts. Start with
these amounts,then add more milk to get it to a
nice consistency. The frosting dries hard, so
it's great for stacking. Use on Sugar Cookies,
Roll Out Cookies, or Spice Cut-outs.
1 c confectioner sugar
2 tsp milk
2 tsp corn syrup
1/4 tsp almond extract
This is a great recipe for cookies, but not for freezing. The Santa &
trees were frozen. See how they lost their shine compared to
snowmen above? And the blue is splotchy? I like The Decorated
Cookie's Royal (sort of) Icing for cookies that will be frozen.
