This is from the kitchen of Ann Marie Barkwell.
I make this every Thanksgiving.  It's simple &
delicious.
Slice lenghwise:
1 butternut squash
Remove seeds.
Place in a 13x9 pan.
Add 1/4"  water to pan.
Cover with foil.

Bake @ 400, 45 min
or until fork easily pierces.

Scoop flesh into a bowl.
Add:
2tsp- 1 Tbsp butter
Season with:
salt & pepper

& exhale the negative."
