From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser. The vinegar
isn't added for flavor, but to reduce the gassiness that is
associated with beans. We like these beans with yellow rice
and chicken. What kind of chicken? Spicy Fried, Breaded,
Rotisserie... Also good with Pulled Pork.
Rinse then place in a small pot:
1 can black beans
3/4 c - 1 c water
1/2 tsp chicken bullion (half a bullion cube)
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp sugar
* I don't measure these spices, just a few shakes of each,
one small shake for the cumin
Heat on low while rice cooks.
When rice is done, so are the beans.
