From the kitchen of Kay Putano.
Filling
1/2 c sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
1 c nuts, chopped
Combine.
Set aside.

Cake
Cream together:
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c shortening
3 eggs- add one at a time
Add:
3 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Add:
1 c sour cream

Grease an angel food cake pan.
Spread 1/3 of cake mixture into pan.
Sprinkle 1/3 of filling.
Repeat, repeat.

Bake @ 350 for 1 hour.
