From the kitchen of Judy Dutcher. This was in a 1971
church cookbook. The bread is made with orange
juice, orange rind, nuts and cranberries.
Mix together in this order:
2 c flour
1 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c orange juice
1 Tbsp grated orange rind
3 Tbsp shortening, melted
1/2 c nuts, chopped
2 c fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
Bake in loaf pan @ 350, 1 hour.
