From the kitchen of Stephen Barkwell. I got this
recipe from Larry Stubbs. Larry whipped these up
in the cabin on our annual trip to Gouin, Canada.
They were really good with our fresh caught fish.
1 c corn meal
1/4 c flour
diced Jalapeno peppers
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 diced onion
1/2 can beer or 6 oz milk
1/4 c creamed corn
1 tsp baking powder
In a deep fryer or pot heat 2-3" oil.
Using a wet spoon, scoop 1" balls of dough
and carefully drop into hot oil.
Turn to evenly brown.
