From the kitchen of Diane Whipple. This was
in the 1st Family Cook Book.
2 pckg orange Jell-O (3 oz each)
1 cup boiling water
1 pint orange sherbet, softened
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
Empty into oiled mold.
Refrigerate overnight to gel well.
To unmold a Jell-O:
When ready to put it on a plate, if using
a plastic mold with lid, just lift the seal
and it will fall onto plate. Some other
kinds of molds may need to be oiled and
then dipped into warm water before
placing on plate.
