From the kitchen of Marlene Knewasser.  This recipe was in
the first family cook book.
3 eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp peach preserves
3/4 c half n half
Place:
6 slices of french bread, 1/2" thick
into a 11x7 baking dish.
Pour egg mixture over top.
Cover & refrigerate a few hours or overnight.

Sauce:
In Mixer:
1/3 c peach preserves
1/2 c butter
2 c fresh sliced peaches
4 Tbsp confectioners sugar
Heat in pan, on stove, until hot.

Melt some butter in a frying pan.
Fry the bread until golden brown.
Serve on plates with a ladel of sauce
on top of each serving.
