From the kitchen of Kay Putano.
Grease a casserole dish. Set aside.
Wipe with a paper towel:
6 pork chops, 1" thick, butterfly cut
Cut off excess fat.
In a large pan, brown on medium heat:
1lb pork sausage
When cooked through, remove excess grease.
8 oz package herb stuffing mix
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 medium apple, chopped
Fill each pork chop with stuffing.
Place remaining stuffing in the greased casserole dish.
In a pan over medium heat, brown the stuffed pork chops on both
Place browned pork chops on top of stuffing in casserole dish.
Bake @ 350 for 1 hour.
