From the kitchen of Kay Putano. This recipe is from
Kellogg's Rice Krispies and Nestle.
In a large saucepan, over medium heat:
1 c corn syrup
1 c sugar
Stir frequently until mixture begins to boil.
Remove from heat.
1 c peanut butter
6 c Rice Krispies
Press into a 13 x 9 x 2
Melt over hot (NOT boiling) water:
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c butterscotch flavored chips
Stir constantly until smooth.
Spread over cereal.
Chill until firm (15 minutes).
Cut into 48 bars.
