From the kitchen of Kay Putano. This casserole has
two layers of ground beef with bread stuffing in the
middle.
Grease a shallow pan.

Layer 1:
1 lb ground beef
Flatten. Layer should be about 1/2" thick.

Layer 2:
In a bowl combine:
2 c bread cubes
1/2 celery, chopped
1/2 c onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp sage
salt & pepper to taste
Cover layer 1.

Layer 3:
1 lb ground beef

Layer 4:
In a bowl combine:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry onion soup mix
Spread over layer 3.

Bake uncovered @ 325, 1 hour
Serves 8.
