From the kitchen of Kay Putano. These tuna balls are rolled in
crushed cornflakes and fried.
Sauté
1/4 c onion, chopped
2 Tbsp butter
Add:
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 c milk
Cook until thick.
Let cool.
Add:
1 can tuna, drained
2 c rice, cooked
1 egg
1/2 Tbsp salt
pepper to taste
1/2 c grated cheese
Roll into balls.
Roll balls in
cornflake crumbs.
Fry in
oil.
