From the kitchen of Kay Putano. The secret
ingredient? Instant onion soup mix. Serve with rice
or whipped potatoes.
2 lbs veal steak or cutlets, cut into serving portions
Wipe with a damp paper towel.
Sprinkle with
salt.
Dip in beaten
egg.
Coat in
flour.

In a large heavy skillet:
1/4 c butter
coated veal
Brown well on both sides.

Place veal in a casserole or baking dish.

Mix:
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 c water

Pour over veal.
Cover.
Bake @ 325 until meat is cooked and sauce is
bubbly.
