From the kitchen of Diomira Putano & Stephanie Knewasser.
This white pizza consists of oil & spices spread over a scratch
dough then topped with Romano & mozzarella.
Pizza Dough (recipe by Diomira Putano):
In a bread machine:
1 c water, warmed
4 Tbsp sugar
5 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 c flour
2 packages yeast
Put on pizza dough setting.
Rub crisco or oil over 2 pizza pans.
Spread the dough.
Let it rise.
White Pizza Sauce (recipe by Stephanie Knewasser):
In a small bowl, combine:
4 Tbsp oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp crushed rosemary
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
salt & pepper
Use these amounts as a guideline.
Spread white pizza sauce over dough.
Sprinkle with Romano cheese.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
Bake @ 375 for 15 minutes or until golden.
Makes 2 large pizzas.
This pizza was made with Sargento's "4 Cheese Pizzeria"
instead of mozzarella. The dark spots are the spices
