From the kitchen of Kay Putano. Easter and Christmas are
great times to whip up a batch of fudge. This recipe makes 3
pounds.
Line an 13 x 9 inch pan with foil or butter.

In a large pot combine:
3 c sugar
2/3 c evaporated milk
3/4 c margarine

Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Continue boiling, over medium heat, for 5 minutes,
stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
Remove from heat.
Don't overcook or it will be dry.

Stir in:
12 oz package semi sweet chocolate pieces
Stir until melted.
Add:
1 jar marshmallow cream (7 oz)
1 c nuts, chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Stir until well blended.
Pour into foil lined pan.
Cool at room temp.
Remove from pan, peel from foil, cut into squares.
Store tightly covered.

Makes 3 lbs.
