Apple Crisp

What says fall better than a bowl of warm apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.



Place in a 9x13 pan:

10 c apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Set aside.


Mix:

1 c white sugar

1 Tbsp flour

1 tsp cinnamon

Sprinkle over apples.

Pour evenly over all:

1/4 c water

Combine:

1 c quick-cooking oats

1 c flour

1 c packed brown sugar

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 c butter, melted

Crumble evenly over the apple mixture.


Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes or until top is browned and apples are bubbling.
