Combine:
1 pckg Oreos, crushed
1/2 c butter, melted
Press on bottom & up side of 9" springform pan.
In double boiler over hot, not boiling, water melt:
1 1/3 c chocolate
In a bowl, beat:
3 egg YOLKS
1 whole egg
Add to hot melted chocolate, mix well.
In another bowl, beat:
3 egg WHITES
Beat until stiff peaks form, set aside.
In another bowl, beat:
1 1/2 c heavy cream
Beat until soft peaks form.
Add:
3 Tbsp confectioner sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Beat until stiff & glossy.
Fold chocolate into whipped cream.
Fold egg whites in.
Pour into Oreo crust & refrigerate at least 3 hours.
If there is extra filling, pour into individual dishes.
Beat:
1 c heavy cream
Beat until soft peaks form.
Add:
2 Tbsp confectioner sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Spread over chilled mousse.
Garnish with chocolate leaves/ curls or Oreos.
Keep chilled.
