Ice Cream

This recipe came with my ice cream maker. It's so easy. There's no cooking & it's ready in 25 minutes. I buy either 1% or 2 % milk and I always have half n half on hand. So I usually use 2 c milk and 1 c half n half. Obviously, the fatter the milk product the creamier. The heavy cream just feels oily on the roof of my mouth, so I don't like to use it.



Put in ice cream maker:

3 c milk product(s)

3/4 c sugar

1 tsp vanilla

Process until thick, about 25 minutes.





Ice cream machine in the first few minutes.



Ice cream machine in the last few minutes.

This batch of vanilla ice cream was made with 2 c whole milk, 1
c heavy cream. From the ice cream machine it went to the
freezer for a couple hours before serving. When it's straight
from the machine it's soft serve consistency (at least it is for
