From the kitchen of Joan Knewasser. This recipe takes
DAYS to marinate, plan in advance.
4-6 lb eye round roast (beef)
2-3 Tbsp butter
Sear well on all sides.
Place in roaster pan.
2-3 c water
2 cubes beef bouillon
1-2 medium onions, chopped
2 clove garlic, crushed
Bake @ 325 for 3 hours.
Add more water if needed.
Cool in refrigerator OVERNIGHT.
Skin off fat.
Slice meat thin.
Remove juice (OR leave in pan and add
3 Tbsp flour to broth, beat with wisk)
Add: 1 can Franco American gravy
Pour over meat.
Put back in refrigerator & marinate 2-3 DAYS.
To serve: reheat in Corning pan
@ 325-350 for 1 hour
