In a saucepan:
2 c sugar
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 pinch salt
1/2 c butter
1/2 c milk
Bring to a rapid boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Add:
3 c oats
1/2 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
Stir until well incorporated.
Wait a minute or two so they won't spread so much.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
If it spreads too much, wait another minute.
Let set.
Keep refrigerated.
I store them in the freezer.
