Raisin Rum Bread



From the kitchen of Steve Barkwell

In a small bowl:

1/2 c Raisins

2 Tbsp Rum

Let stand 30 minutes.

Drain.


In bread machine:

1/2 c water

2 tsp butter

2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream

1/2 tsp rum extract

1 egg

1 tsp olive oil

2 c bread flour

2 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp salt

1 Tbsp dry milk powder

1 1/2 tsp dry yeast

Use bread machine setting for 1 lb loaf.

Add the raisins about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.
