Prepare according to directions:
1 box white cake mix
Divide among 3 greased & floured (9 inch) round pans.
Bake @ 350 20 min or until toothpick tests clean.
Cool completely.
Combine:
1/4 c coffee, strong
1 Tbsp Kahlua liqueur
Set aside.
Filling
8 oz mascarpone cheese
1/2 c confectioner sugar
2 Tbsp Kahlua liqueur
Beat until smooth.
Cover & refrigerate.
Frosting:
2 c heavy cream
1/4 c confectioner sugar
2 Tbsp Kahlua liqueur
Beat until stiff.
Fold 1/2 c into filling mixture.
Assembly:
Place cake on serving plate.
Poke with holes.
Pour 1/3 of coffee over it.
Spread with half of filling.
Repeat with remaining layers.
Frost top & sides.
Garnish with a dusting of cocoa & chocolate curls.
Keep refrigerated.
