About Me
There are so many wonderful cooks in the family! I started this website about 20 years ago as a way to keep our spread out family connected. Over the years, it’s changed to recipes and the more has disappeared. I feel such a connection through food and after talking to others, I know I’m not alone.
Aunt Diomira in her tiny kitchen, polka music playing in the background, always had spaghetti, meatballs, sauce & pizzelle ready to feed us.
Easter & Thanksgiving we’d feast in Uncle Tony’s dining room, where the long extended table was covered with an insane amount of food, including Aunt Kay’s rosa marina salad & broccoli casserole.
Grandma’s english muffin bread baked in cans…
As loved ones pass away I become even more appreciative that I have their recipes. I think it’s a perfect way to keep us connected to our past.
Please keep sending me your favorite recipes. I do treasure them.
Have a happy day!
Stephanie
