Breaded Chicken

Boneless chicken breasts, pounded thin

Butter, melted

Italian bread crumbs

Romano cheese

for Stovetop Breaded Chicken, you’ll also need:

egg, salt, pepper & garlic powder

Baked Breaded Chicken:

Preheat oven to 350

Combine the bread crumbs & romano cheese (1 cup to 1 Tbsp ratio).

Rinse chicken breasts.

Coat with melted butter.

Coat with bread crumb/ romano mixture.

Place on cookie sheet lined with foil.

Bake 20 minutes.

Flip over & bake additional 10-20 minutes (the thicker it is, the longer it will take)

Center cut to check for doneness.

Breaded outside doesn’t darken.

Stovetop Breaded Chicken:

Mix bread crumbs & romano.

Mix egg, salt, pepper & garlic powder (shake of each).

Dip chicken in egg mix, then bread crumb mix.

Melt butter in a pan on stovetop.

Cook chicken in butter, turning, until cooked through.
