Caramel Popcorn

In a big pan mix together:

1 1/2 c light corn syrup

1 1/2 c sugar

2 sticks margarine

Cook & stir constantly with a wooden spoon until it’s a butterscotch color, about 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Add:

2 heaping quarts popped popcorn

1 1/2 c peanuts

Dump on a buttered cookie sheet.

Spread out & let cool.

Snap into pieces OR roll into balls.

NOTES:

These are great for class treats.
