From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser
In a mixer, cream:
1/2 c unsalted butter
1/2 c crisco
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
Cream until light & fluffy.
Gradually add:
3 c confectioner sugar
Cream until well blended.
Gradually add:
1/4 c coffee, cooled
Blend on low speed until incorporated.
Beat at high speed until fluffy.
NOTES
- This pairs beautifully with chocolate cake.
