From the kitchen of John Putano
Beat until frothy:
1 egg white
2 Tbsp water
Stir in:
2/3 c walnut halves
2/3 c pecan halves
2/3 c whole almonds
Stir to coat, drain in colander 3-4 minutes.
Mix in a plastic bag:
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Add nuts.
Shake to coat.
Spread wet nuts in a single layer on a microwave safe plate.
Micro on high for 1 1/2 minutes.
Remove.
Stir to separate. Cool.
Store in sealed container.
Makes 2 cups.
