Sweedish Meatballs

From the kitchen of Steve Barkwell Sr

Mix together:

I lb ground beef

1/2 c bread crumbs

1/3 c minced onions

1/4 c milk

1 egg

1 Tbsp parsley

1 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Shape into balls.

Place meatballs in a pan.

Bake @ 350 for 15 – 20 minutes or until browned.

Drain fat.

In a large pot, over med low heat:

12 oz jar chili sauce

10 oz jar grape jelly

Stir until jelly is melted.

Add the meatballs.

Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.

NOTES:

The guys on the fishing trip were skeptical when they saw me add the grape jelly, but they tried them. Everyone loved them.
