
From the kitchen of Mabel Knewasser
In a double boiler, melt:
1/4 c butter
Stir in:
2 c milk
1 c half n half cream
Stir in:
8 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
4 c slivered or diced turkey, cooked
Heat thoroughly.
When ready to serve, pour into chafing dish.
Stir in:
1 c sherry (optional)
Serve on toast.
Serves 8.
