About Me<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are so many wonderful cooks in the family! I started this website about 20 years ago as a way to keep our spread out family connected. Over the years, it\u2019s changed to recipes<\/em> and the more <\/em>has disappeared. I feel such a connection through food and after talking to others, I know I\u2019m not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunt Diomira in her tiny kitchen, polka music playing in the background, always had spaghetti, meatballs, sauce <\/em>& pizzelle <\/em>ready to feed us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Easter & Thanksgiving we\u2019d feast in Uncle Tony\u2019s dining room, where the long extended table was covered with an insane amount of food, including Aunt Kay\u2019s rosa marina salad <\/em>& broccoli casserole.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grandma\u2019s english muffin bread<\/em> baked in cans\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As loved ones pass away I become even more appreciative that I have their recipes. I think it\u2019s a perfect way to keep us connected to our past. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
