to a bread machine pan:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/2 c butter<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/4 c milk, warmed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3\/4 c half -n- half, warmed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3 egg YOLKS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 tsp salt<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3 Tbsp sugar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3 c flour<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 pckg yeast<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Set bread machine to dough setting.<\/p>\n<p>Dump dough onto a floured surface.<\/p>\n<p>Divide into 2 pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Line 2 cookies sheets with parchment or a silicone baking mat.<\/p>\n<p>Using hands, spread dough into rectangles.<\/p>\n<p>Let rise until double.<\/p>\n<p>Use a wooden spoon to make 2 grooves (see photos).<\/p>\n<p>Fill grooves with<em><strong>\u00a0canned pie filling<\/strong><\/em> (I used a little more than 1\/2 a can). We like raspberry &amp; apple.<\/p>\n<p>Crumb Topping:<\/p>\n<p>Make in a food process or cut together with a fork. Should be crumbly.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 c flour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/4 c butter<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/4 c brown sugar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle crumb topping over danish.<\/p>\n<p>Place an oven proof dish of water in bottom of oven.<\/p>\n<p>Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes or until golden.<\/p>\n<p>If you make small danish, check at 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Cool.<\/p>\n<p>Icing:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 tsp butter, softened (yes, TEAspoon)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1 1\/2 c confectioner sugar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>splash of vanilla<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 Tbsp half -n-half cream<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Mix until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Put in a baggie &amp; snip the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Drizzle over danish.<\/p>\n<p>Cut into bars &amp; serve.<\/p>\n<p>Keep covered.<\/p>\n<p>Makes 2 large danish loaves, 36 servings.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns
