{"id":1387,"date":"2023-05-12T11:30:41","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T11:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/?p=1387"},"modified":"2026-06-04T22:45:54","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T22:45:54","slug":"bok-choy-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/bok-choy-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Bok Choy Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the kitchen of Diane Wilson<\/h4>\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 head Bok Choy or Chinese cabbage<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1 bunch scallions<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 Tablespoons tamari sauce or soy sauce<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/4 cup cider vinegar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 cup sugar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>3\/4 cup oil<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 1\/2 oz sesame seeds<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 packages Ramen noodles\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(discard seasoning packet)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 cup sliced almonds<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Step 1:<\/p>\n<p>Cut Bok Choy or chinese cabbage into bite sized pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Combine with chopped scallions.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2:<\/p>\n<p>Combine tamari, vinegar, sugar and oil.<\/p>\n<p>Boil for no more than 1 minute.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3:<\/p>\n<p>Smash Ramen noodles into small pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Saute in small amount of oil and garlic powder with sesame seeds and almonds.<\/p>\n<p>NOTES<\/p>\n<p>Each step may be prepared and refrigerated separately for up to one week.<\/p>\n<p>Combine immediately before serving.<\/p>\n<p>One of my colleagues made this recipe for our staff picnic. Everybody loved it!
