{"id":1431,"date":"2023-05-14T02:00:39","date_gmt":"2023-05-14T02:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/?p=1431"},"modified":"2026-06-04T13:47:22","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T13:47:22","slug":"broccoli-cashew-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/broccoli-cashew-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Broccoli Cashew Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the kitchen of Lennie Litts<\/h4>\n\n\n<p>Dressing:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c Hellman&#8217;s mayo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/2 c sugar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>2 Tbsp cider vinegar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 tsp dry mustard<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 tsp paprika<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blend in blender until creamy smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Salad:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>2 bunches broccoli, cut into floret size<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c red onion, sliced<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c dried cranberries or raisins<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c fresh mushrooms, sliced<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 can mandarin oranges, drained<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/2 c broken cashews<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c cooked crumbled bacon<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour dressing on just before serving.<\/p>\n<p>Makes 10-12 servings.
