the kitchen of Connie Powers<\/h4>\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Summer squash<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(peeled) and cut<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1 egg<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0beaten<\/p>\n<p>On a sheet of wax paper, combine:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 cup 4C Seasoned Italian bread crumbs<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 cup flour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/4 tsp salt<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Heat\u00a0<strong><em>1\/4 cup oil\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(any) in a fry pan.<\/p>\n<p>When you sprinkle a little bread crumb into the oil, it should sizzle.<\/p>\n<p>Dip squash in egg then dip into bread crumb mixture.<\/p>\n<p>Fry both sides of squash (it&#8217;ll turn golden brown)<\/p>\n<p>Place fried squash on paper towel to drain excess
