{"id":1932,"date":"2023-05-20T00:47:10","date_gmt":"2023-05-20T00:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/?p=1932"},"modified":"2026-06-03T10:51:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T10:51:16","slug":"pork-chops-with-gouda-bacon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/pork-chops-with-gouda-bacon\/","title":{"rendered":"Pork Chops with Gouda &#038; Bacon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the kitchen of Marlene Knewasser<\/h4>\n\n\n<p>Preheat grill, medium heat.<\/p>\n<p><u>FILLING<\/u><\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, stir together:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>6 oz smoked Gouda cheese, shredded<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>3\/4 c fresh parsley, chopped<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/8 tsp pepper<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Set aside.<\/p>\n<p><u>MEAT<\/u><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>6 (2 1\/4 inch thick) bone in pork loin chops<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cut a pocket into each chop.<\/p>\n<p>To cut a pocket, make a small horizontal cut on the fatty side of the chop, cutting to the bone without cutting through the other side.
