sugar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>3 eggs<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>2 tsp vanilla<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>1 1\/2 tsp baking soda<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>1\/2 tsp salt<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>1 tsp cinnamon<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>1\/8 tsp nutmeg<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>3 c flour<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gently stir in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1 c chopped walnuts<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>3 to 4 c peeled chopped apples<\/strong><\/em>, any size pieces<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes a thick batter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spread into a greased &amp; floured tube pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cook at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cool for 15 minutes &amp; turn it over onto a plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frost with <strong><em>cream cheese frosting<\/em><\/strong> or a dusting of <strong><em>confectioner sugar<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NOTES<br><\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;ve made it with 1\/2 c butterscotch chips in place of the
