class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Crust<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix until crumbly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1 yellow cake mix<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1\/3 c soft margarine or butter<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1 egg<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pat into a greased 13&#215;9 pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bake @ 350, 12-18 min OR until golden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Center<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Top with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>3 c mini marshmallows<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arrange in a single layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bake @ 350, 3-5 min OR until they PUFF, don&#8217;t brown them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Topping<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a large saucepan over low heat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>2\/3 c corn syrup<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1\/4 c margarine or butter<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>2 tsp vanilla<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>12 oz pckg peanut butter chips<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stir constantly until melted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remove from heat &amp; add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>2 c Rice Krispies<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>1 1\/2 c salted cocktail peanuts<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using 2 spoons, drop topping, one small spoonful at a time, to cover. It won&#8217;t spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chill. Cut into bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If too hard to cut, let set on counter to soften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For long term storage OR if they soften: refrigerate, otherwise, store covered at room temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Serve in cupcake papers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FREEZE GREAT!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cut before freezing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NOTES<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>I don&#8217;t know what Aunt Jilda called these, but we&#8217;ve always called
