paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 butter<\/strong><\/em>, softened<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 1\/2 c sugar<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 tsp baking soda<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 tsp baking powder<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 tsp salt<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>2 eggs<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 tsp finely shredded lemon peel<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 Tbsp lemon juice<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 tsp lemon extract<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>3 c flour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stir in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>3\/4 c coarsely chopped lightly salted pistachio nuts<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>3\/4 c coarsely chopped macadamia nuts<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Divide dough in half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shape each into a 12&#8243; roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place 3&#8243; apart on lined cookie sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake @ 350, 35-40 minutes or until beginning to brown (logs will spread).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cool completely on rack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a serrated knife to slice into 3\/4&#8243; slices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake @ 350, 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turn slices over, bake @ 350 for 5 more minutes or until dry and crisp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cool on rack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Makes 36 biscotti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
