From the kitchen of Stephanie Knewasser<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pastry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\/2 c butter<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 oz cream cheese<\/strong><\/em>, room temp<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 c flour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press pastry in bottom & up sides of mini muffin tins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whisk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 egg<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3\/4 c brown sugar, packed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Tbsp butter, melted<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stir in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\/2 c pecans or walnuts<\/em><\/strong>, coarsely chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Put 1 heaping tsp of filling in each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bake @ 325, 30 min OR until pastry golden & filling puffed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cool slightly in pan, before removing to rack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makes 24 cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freeze great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
