It will expand as it bakes.<\/p>\n<p>To seal, dip finger in water, then dab the opposite corners of the square that don&#8217;t have filling. Pinch these corners together (the water acts as glue). Fold pinch down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bake @ 375, 12-18 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Cool completely.<\/p>\n<p>Dust with\u00a0<em><strong>confectioner sugar<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>NOTES<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These are delicate little cookies.\u00a0They crumble easily, yet freeze well.\u00a0If freezing, don&#8217;t dust with sugar until brought to room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>We also make these using raspberry &amp; lekvar filling instead of apricot.<\/li>\n<li>Use SOLO pastry filling, not jam or preserves. It&#8217;s sold next to pie fillings. Jam\/ preserves will melt &amp; leak out.<\/li>\n<li>These puff as they bake, which can make the seal break.
