cubes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>1 clove garlic, chopped<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simmer until the potatoes are cooked through, about 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stir in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>the drained clams<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>salt pork cracklings<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2 c light cream<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simmer (the longer the better).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Salt &amp;
