{"id":411,"date":"2023-05-01T18:15:58","date_gmt":"2023-05-01T18:15:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/?p=411"},"modified":"2026-06-05T18:29:46","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T18:29:46","slug":"bruschetta-syle-pasta-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyrecipesandmore.com\/wordpress\/bruschetta-syle-pasta-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Bruschetta Style Pasta Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From the kitchen of Chris Lohman<\/h4>\n\n\n<p>Dressing:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 packet Seven Seas Zesty Italian dressing mix<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>olive oil<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>balsamic vinegar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Follow the instructions on the package SUBSTITUTING\u00a0<strong><em>balsamic vinegar<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0for regular vinegar.<\/p>\n<p>Add:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1\/2 tsp minced garlic (optional)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Cook to al dente:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 box penne pasta<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chop up:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>3-4 Roma tomatoes OR equivalent of cherry tomatoes, quartered<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cut into small cubes:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>5-6 oz part skim mozzarella<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chop:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>a bunch of leaves of fresh basil<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Combine everything but dressing in bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Toss with desired amount of dressing.<\/p>\n<p>NOTES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can play with the proportions of the ingredients to suit you.
