bowl:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/2 c Crisco shortening<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1\/2 tsp salt<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>1 c sugar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix well with a spoon.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>3 eggs<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sift together &amp; add:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 c flour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2 tsp baking powder<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Gradually add:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1 c milk<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Beat 60 strokes until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Carefully fold in:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3\/4 to 1 c fresh blueberries (or dry pack frozen)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spoon into greased muffin tins (or paper cups).<\/p>\n<p>Bake @ 400 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>NOTES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I like topping the muffins with streusel. Streusel: 1\/2 c flour, 1\/4 c cold butter, 1\/4 c brown sugar.
