Sauerkraut & Pork Pinwheels

From the kitchen of Kay Putano

In a bowl, combine:

1 lb ground pork

1/2 c bread crumbs

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 tsp salt

dash pepper

1/2 tsp worchestershire sauce

On a piece of wax paper, pat meat mixture into a 10 x 7 rectangle.

In another bowl, combine:

1 lb can sauerkraut (2 c), drained

1/4 c onion, chopped

Spread over meat layer.

Starting at narrow side, roll up jelly roll fashion.

Place loaf in a shallow dish.

Arrange 5 slices of bacon over loaf.

Bake @ 350, 40-45 minutes.

Makes 5-6 servings.
